10mg/5ml injectable solution
Each ampoule contains 10 mg Cisatracurium (as besylate).
Pharmacologic category:
Nondepolarizing neuromuscular blocker
Indication and administration:
- An adjunct to general anesthesia, to facilitate endotracheal intubation
- to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation in ICU
Intravenous only diluted in 5% Dextrose Injection, 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection and 5% Dextrose and 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection.
and can be stored either under refrigeration or at room temperature for 24 hours.
It also is compatible in:
- sufentanil citrate Injection
- alfentanil hydrochloride Injection
- midazolam hydrochloride Injection
- Droperidol Injection
Cisatracorine Injection is not compatible with propofol Injection or ketorolac Injection for Y-site administration; besides, it is incompatible with alkalin solutions like barbiturates.
Cis Atracorine Injection should not be diluted in Lactated Ringer’s Injection, due to chemical instability.
